YOU’RE NOT ALONE;

A long-term nonprofit partnership built around creating the stories, marketing content and resources needed at every stage of growth.

THE PROBLEM

You’re Not Alone; was growing from an idea into an organization, but it needed more than awareness. It needed a clear visual identity, a way to tell the story behind the mission, and marketing content that could help people understand the impact the therapy dog teams were having in schools.

As the nonprofit continued to grow, those needs expanded. The organization needed donor-facing content, testimonials, team photography, social content and eventually training resources that could support teams beyond the immediate area.

THE APPROACH

We approached the work as an ongoing partnership rather than a one-time campaign. As You’re Not Alone; grew, we created each new piece of content around the next problem the organization needed to solve.

That meant starting with foundational brand photography, then expanding into mission-driven films, donor-facing content, testimonials, team photography, social media assets and training resources as the organization’s reach and needs continued to grow.

Each piece was created for a specific purpose, but together they built a larger library of content that could support awareness, fundraising, team growth and long-term communication.

WHAT WE CREATED

THE WORK

BRAND STORY PRODUCTION

A mission-driven film created to tell the personal story behind You’re Not Alone; and why the organization exists. The production combined cinematic reenactments, drone cinematography, school footage, Amy and Willow, and a visual transition from childhood into adulthood to reinforce the message that a difficult chapter does not have to be the end of someone’s story.

Donor VSL

A donor-focused video created to give You’re Not Alone; a stronger fundraising tool for emails, presentations and direct outreach. Built around a board member’s message and supporting footage from the program, the VSL helped clearly communicate the need, the impact of the organization and why financial support matters

TESTIMONIALS + IMPACT STORIES

We brought multiple firsthand perspectives together into one testimonial film to show the impact of You’re Not Alone; from the people experiencing the program in different ways.

The film includes students sharing how therapy dog teams affected them personally, school leadership discussing the changes they witnessed in the school environment, a therapist explaining the emotional and nervous-system benefits of working with dogs, and team members sharing why they chose to become involved.

By combining those voices into one piece, the organization gained a stronger long-form asset that could support fundraising, presentations, outreach, social media and conversations with schools considering bringing a team into their community.

TEAM PHOTOGRAPHY + TRADING CARDS

As You’re Not Alone; expanded, consistent team imagery became an important part of how the organization presented itself online and connected with students in the schools.

We photographed therapy dog teams for the organization’s online team pages and created individual portraits of each therapy dog specifically for use on printed trading cards given to students. The goal was to keep the imagery polished and consistent while still letting each team and dog feel personal and approachable.

For teams outside the area, we also created a photography guide that could be shared with handlers so they could capture usable team and trading card images when professional photography wasn’t geographically possible.

THE RESULT

Over several years, the work created for You’re Not Alone; has grown into a library of content that supports nearly every part of the organization — awareness, fundraising, school outreach, team growth and ongoing communication.

The donor VSL became a key fundraising tool, giving the organization something they could consistently use in emails, presentations and donor conversations. Combined with the brand story, testimonials, photography and social content, the organization gained a much stronger way to communicate both the mission and the real impact of the program.

As You’re Not Alone; has continued to grow, the content has grown with it — moving from foundational brand imagery into a larger system of marketing and communication assets built around the organization’s evolving needs.

WHAT THIS PARTNERSHIP PROVED

Long-term creative partnerships make it possible to build more than individual pieces of content. They create a deeper understanding of the organization, the people it serves and the problems that need to be solved next.

Because Gregg Media has worked alongside You’re Not Alone; through multiple stages of growth, each new project has been able to build on the work that came before it — creating a stronger, more connected library of content over time.

GROWING ALONGSIDE THE MISSION

One of the things we value most about long-term partnerships is getting to watch the organizations we work with grow. When we first started creating content for You’re Not Alone;, the organization was still in its earliest stages. Today, it has grown to more than 80 therapy dog teams, with teams serving schools across Minnesota and in states as far away as the East Coast and Texas.

Being able to support that growth with the photography, films, testimonials, fundraising content and other resources the organization needed along the way has been one of the most meaningful parts of the partnership.
